David Miller is Reader in Philosophy in the Departmemt of Philosophy at the University of Warwick, UK, where for almost forty years he taught logic. After beginning to study logic and scientific method he became one of Karl Popper’s research assistants. One of the most prominent exponents of critical rationalism, he has been Honorary Treasurer of the British Society for the Philosophy of Science and visiting professor at universities and research institutes in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Hungary, India, Italy, Mexico, Thailand, and USA. He is the editor of Popper Selections, translated into 12 languages, and co-editor of Karl Popper: A Centenary Assessment. His areas of interest are logic and the philosophy of science.
